Scents of Christmas and New Year
It was the time in my life when happiness tasted like the most delicious chocolate to a child. It was that moment when we celebrated Christmas and New year.As of now, the memorable happenings during our Christmas vacation is still in my mind. And that signifies that I enjoyed and spent that short vacation very well with my loving family and friends.
Just before Christmas, I could feel the cold weather, sweet smell of poinsettias, enchanting Christmas trees, Christmas lights, belen and colorful lanterns. More than these, I was so motivated to wake up early and brave the cold water for a bath for the "Simbang Gabi". Every time that we go to church, I make some wishes for myself, my family, and friends. I hope that these will be granted. It makes me feel comfortable, a big smile and enjoyment are seen in our family when we are all together hoping that our good relationship to one another will never last. Like any other children, I also experienced having a caroling together with the SK in our Barangay for our Christmas Ball. It was so enjoyable and I found this caroling very interesting to spend this Christmas season with a BIG SMILE...
Exactly before Christmas, we have our exchange gift with my family and neighborhood. We also spent the night sharing and loving one another. We ate together and have different games and prizes.
After celebrating Christmas, we were ready to celebrate New Year. Perhaps it is the time for us to change everything that is bad. At this point could somehow think of my New Year's resolution for the next battle in life. Its 2009, the year of the EARTH OX!!! We opened the tv and joined the COUNTDOWN. I blow my "torotot" and at the same time, I jumped to become taller. We have our "Media Noche" with my family. We were very happy that we reached this year,2009 with good health and blessings from God. We prayed to do well our New Year's resolution. My ears enjoyed hearing different sounds, seeing different colors in the sky with my eyes and eating delicious delicacies...
How I wish to experience the smell, taste, and beautiful sights of Christmas and New Year. And yet all these things happened in just one blink of an eye and I am happy because another year has come to totally full fill my GOALS IN LIFE. :)
